Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has made seven changes to his line-up to face Swansea City in the Carabao Cup fixture.

Eric Bailly is still out and not in the matchday squad after suffering an injury on international duty but Phil Jones was fit enough to travel to south Wales and is a substitute. Victor Lindelof gets the nod in defence.

Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford get a chance to impress together as both are in the team.

Left-back Luke Shaw is on the bench, while youngsters Axel Tuanzebe and Scott McTominay start.

Paul Pogba is still ruled out with a hamstring injury, while Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini are also sidelined. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo are recovering from long-term problems.

David De Gea and Antonio Valencia did not travel with the team and are presumably rested.

United team: Romero, Darmian, Lindelof, Smalling, Blind, Tuanzebe, Herrera, Lingard, McTominay, Martial, Rashford.

Subs: Pereira, Jones, Shaw, Matic, Mata, Mkhitaryan, Lukaku.
