Water pools in Al Buraimi attracting visitors from governorates

Al Buraimi: The trough of low pressure which hit the Al Buraimi Governorate and the Sultanate of Oman led to beautiful natural formations that are attracting visitors from different governorates.

The rains that fell in the governorates led to the overflow of dams in the Wilayat of Mahda. Apart from overflow, the dams in the region also stored 3.331 million cubic metres of water

The heavy rains caused overflow of wadis which also attracted visitors to the wilayat of Mahda including Wadi Shrm, Wadi Al Qahi, Wadi Al Khadhra, Wad Abu Qala’a and Wadi Al Hayol among others.

The overflow of wadis also occurred in the Wilayat of Al Sinainah including Wadi Wasit, Wadi Al Fayadh, Wadi Ajran and other wadis.

Natural water formations covering large areas are visible in the Jari Al Hoya region. The three wilayats of the Governorate of Al Buraimi have turned into pastures for grazing of animals. -With ONA inputs
