The police found the body of an Asian man who lived in the country illegally and is wanted by the police.

During the investigation, the Police found that the deceased was hired by the contractor on a daily wage. The contractor tried to run away from the country after he tried to hide the body of the worker by dumping it in the industrial area.

Crime scene experts collected evidence and lifted fingerprints and transferred the body to the forensics laboratory.

During the interrogation, the contractor confessed that he had hired the deceased who was an absconding worker for daily payment.

Col. Ibrahim Al Ajill, Director of CID told Khaleej Times that despite the warnings,  there are many companies that are still hiring illegals and absconders and fail to oblige by the laws and regulations of the land. Employing of illegals affects the security and stability of the country. "These violating companies have become, safe resort for the absconders and illegals; most of them wanted by Police for committing various crimes," he added.
