Sodexo Named 'Employer of the Year' by Greater Waltham Arc, Inc.
Dining Services at Bentley University honored
/EINPresswire.com/ WALTHAM, Mass - Sodexo at Bentley University today announced the campus dining services partner has been named 'Employer of the Year' by Greater Waltham Arc (GWArc) for its continued employment and support of GWArc consumers.
Sodexo will be honored at GWArc's Annual Meeting on November 19, 2012 at the Embassy Suites in Waltham. Jason Laprade, Sodexo Resident District Manager, will accept the award on behalf of his team.
Founded in 1956 by a group of concerned parents, GWArc serves children, adolescents and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in the community, utilizing a person-centered planning approach. Through GWArc's employment services, the organization provides work training and employment for 75-85 people with developmental disabilities each year.
For fifteen years, Sodexo at Bentley University has provided GWArc consumers individualized employment training and work skill refinement within campus dining operations. There are currently 7 GWArc employees working the dish room in the main resident dining hall.
