The TEXAF Group's activities in the DRC evolved as follows during the 1er quarter:
Rental income from the PROPERTY DIVISION (rental of residential properties and office space in Kinshasa) came to EUR 6.0 million for the quarter, up 6% on the comparable period of 2023. The occupancy rate remained close to 100% throughout the quarter. This figure includes EUR 0.1 million of first lettings from the Promenade des Artistes project. This project comprises 94 flats in 6 buildings, which are being delivered progressively from January to June this year. On a full- year basis, it has a rental potential of EUR 4.3 million. To date, 57 flats have been reserved by tenants. The opening of phase III of SILIKIN VILLAGE had to be postponed until June due to supply delays for some equipment. With 6,000 additional m2 of co-working spaces and private offices, this will be the largest entrepreneurial and digital hub in Central Africa. It has a full-year rental potential of EUR 3.0 million, and 85% of the private offices have already been reserved.
Promenade des Artistes project
CARRIGRES (sandstone quarry in Kinshasa). Sales for the first quarter of 2024 totalled EUR 1.6 million, up 56% on the same period of 2023. Volumes were up 35% thanks to sustained demand, particularly in January, and improved production following investment in a new power line.
DIGITAL The first two phases of the SILIKIN VILLAGE (2,700 m2) are fully occupied as usual. Training activity has remained intense, with master classes ("Developing a website", "The role of data centres in digital transformation", etc.), webinars ("Innovative financing strategies for start-ups", "Women entrepreneurship and personal branding", etc.), etc. With phase III due to open shortly, an internationalisation drive has begun with visits from investors from Nigeria, USA, China, Cameroon and South Africa, and a first road show in Côte d'Ivoire. The construction of OADC TEXAF DIGITAL (49% owned ina joint-venture with the pan-African group WIOCC), the 1st data centre in the DRC that meets international standards, is nearing completion. It has been very well received by all prospective Congolese customers (banks, telecoms operators, internet service providers, etc.) and 60% of the capacity of the first phase has been reserved for qualified customers requests.

TEXAF, founded in 1925, is the only listed company with all its activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo. These are currently focused on real estate, careers and digital.
This stock market listing and the resulting obligations of good governance and transparency are a major asset for the group in terms of its development and the promotion of the formal sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
