U.S. Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer said her agency has saved taxpayers $30 million through its work with the Department of Government Efficiency.

"We're working with @DOGE to root out waste, fraud, & abuse. @USDOL just saved taxpayers $30M by eliminating “America Last” programs in foreign countries like Indonesia, Colombia, Guatemala, Chile, & Brazil," she wrote Friday on X. "Under @POTUS, the American Worker ALWAYS comes First."

The official DOGE account responded to her post on X.

"Great job by @SecretaryLCD @USDOL," DOGE wrote. "These program cancellations included $3M for 'transparency and accountability in Uzbekistan’s cotton industry.'"
