Roma and Juventus drew 1-1 in the match corresponding to the 31st matchday of Serie A. The home team is still out of the cup zone, while the visitors moved into the top four.

The referee added 3 more minutes from now.

After Roma's early second-half surge, Juventus reacted and regained control of possession and surrounded the home side's box.           

After the goal, Roma improved considerably and kept their position in the opponent's half in search of the second goal to be, for the first time, on top of the scoreboard. 

After a corner kick from the right to the center of the box, Evan Ndicka headed, the goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio saved it, but left the rebound short and Eldor Shomuradov pushed it in for 1-1

Gonzalez generated an infringement on the doorstep of Roma's box and Vlahovic was in charge of executing it with a powerful shot to the middle of the goal that went straight into the hands of the home goalkeeper.

After an attack went from the right to the left, Weah received outside the box, dodged and launched the cross to the heart of the box for Gonzalez's header that hit the crossbar after an impressive save by Svilar.

Midfielder Bryan Cristante was cautioned for a blow in midfield. The player is the first yellow in the Roma and in the match in general.     

After Juventus lowered the intensity, the home side took advantage to take control and came close to the first. Dovbyk held the ball on the edge of the box and touched to the left for Cristante who shot from inside the box, but was blocked by Kalulu.

In addition to the good ball handling in this start, Juventus read the opponent's intentions very well and coordinates the defense to be able to counter long passes and avoid the opponent's play.

Roma are determined to wait in their own half and counter-attack or play direct without stretching the moves, but this makes Juventus handle the ball with a higher percentage and push them back

Juventus continues to be planted very close to the opponent's box and, in front of a passive Roma defense, is close to convert the first goal. So far there have been no more clear-cut chances, but it's a matter of aim.

Of the total, Juventus have won 92, Roma have won 48 times and they have drawn the remaining 55, leaving a difference of 44 meetings. On the other hand, the “Vecchia Signora” is in a better position in the standings, but with a worse performance at local level, which made them drop from the top positions in the league and find themselves among the last teams to enter the cups for next season.
