ACTITO owner CITOBI S.A. to focus on development of its marketing automation software

CITOBI S.A., a specialist in relationship marketing, plans to accelerate the development of ACTITO, a precursor to SaaS, particularly in Canada following the sale of its health professional communication business, MediQuality, to WebMD Health Corp.

QUEBEC CITY, Sept. 20, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CITOBI acquired MediQuality in 2008 to strengthen its presence in the pharmaceutical sector. 

As part of the sale, Pierre De Nayer will leave the CITOBI management committee to become CEO of MediQuality.

The sale of MediQuality will enable CITOBI to inject several million dollars into the development of its ACTITO platform, boosting its capacity to serve a rapidly expanding customer base.

ACTITO aims to strengthen its leading European position in Marketing Automation.

"We will first invest in the scalability of our platform. The traction of the market is such that we must be able to manage 20 times today’s content volume within three years," explains Benoît De Nayer, co-CEO of ACTITO leader of the product development.”

ACTITO also plans to strengthen its offering through a number of strategic acquisitions.

ACTITO's approach is ‘glocal’. Today, the company operates in four countries (France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Canada) with more than 100 employees. ACTITO wants to strengthen its teams to offer optimal local customer support.

Canada is one of the most promising markets in terms of Marketing Automation.
